My Birthday Weekend

The weekend before my birthday the kids slept at Aaron's parents so we could go out and then sleep in our own bed through the night! And sleep in!  Our kids seem to think the day starts at 6 am.  Anyway, after we dropped the kids off we went to dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings.  It was a really fun place, and the food was so yummy!

Aaron's favorite was the Asian flavor.  It was way to spicy for me.

After dinner we made the mistake of getting on the freeway.  It was still really bad traffic.  Dang Utah county construction.  We finally made it to Orem.  We went to a couple different stores looking for a nice, comfy chair to go in our bedroom for me to read in while Aaron is working at the computer. His work is getting the team laptops and hopefully he will be working from home more.  We didn't find anything, but it was fun to be able to browse without wrangling kids.

After shopping we found the Orem location of Coney's and stopped for dessert.  They had a location in American Fork that we would go to, but they closed.  Man, that was a sad day when we saw that they closed.  They have the best gourmet hot dogs and seriously the best frozen custard.  Even better than Nielsen's.

These were huge. We each got our own, we would order the same thing at the Orem location because it was like half the size.  Needless to say, we could have probably just ordered one to share.

It was a nice night, and after sleeping in we had time to go to breakfast at a fun place in Lehi before we had to pick up the kids.  It was a really nice way to celebrate my birthday.
