Hill Aerospace Museum

On July 24th, we drove up to the Hill Aerospace Museum.  We were impressed with how big it was.  I was expecting a lot less.  The boys LOVED it. We got there pretty close to when it opened and it wasn't too crowded.

It was a fun activity and we thought it was worth the 1+ hour drive to get there.

"Camp out"

On the 23rd of July, Aaron and Dallin slept in the backyard in our tent.  Dallin had been wanting to do this for awhile and they were finally able to!  He was so excited.

Getting the fire started

Roasting a marshmallow for some smores.

Here they are sleeping totally covered up. There is no way I could sleep that way!
I had to wake them up so we could get going for the day.  Dallin said they had so much fun.

St. George

In July we drove down to St. George.  My dad did some work for someone that has a condo and they let us use it for the week.

Here are the kids on the drive down

Amanda and Aiden on the way to the pool

This is what Aiden did when we weren't swimming

The condo complex has a really fun pool.  The kids were in heaven.

Aaron and Brooke relaxing at the condo.  It was too hot to be outside unless you were in the pool.

We took the kids to see the St. George temple while we were there.
It is such a pretty temple!

By the end of the trip we had 17 people staying at the condo, it was insane and there were people sleeping everywhere!  It was a pretty fun trip and we even got to spend some time with Spencer and Natalie!

Fourth of July

Here are the kids in their 4th of July clothes! No parade to go to this year though.

Getting Aiden to smile for this was almost impossible.  For some reason he hated this shirt. He started crying when I put it on and kept trying to take it off.  Even now if I try to put this shirt on him he tells me no.

We went to Aaron's parents for dinner and swimming and fireworks.
The kids had so much fun! They are so lucky to have fun grandparents!

Kurt Bestor in the Park

I found out about the free concerts in the park in Bountiful and the one on June 28th happened to be Kurt Bestor.  Aaron really like his music, so we had my parents watch the kids and we got to have a fun date night!

It was so much fun!  We got to sit on the front row!  We got there early and had a little picnic for dinner before the concert started. It was fun to hear his non-Christmas music.

Getting back at this.

Ok, I am going to attempt to get this caught up.  I guess I decided to take the summer (and a good part of fall) off.

We had the last day of school,

Preschool graduation

Brooke was super shy and refused to say her part and didn't really sing the songs.  Poor thing.  She gets her super shyness from me.

We had a little party for Aiden's birthday with my side of the family.

This is what he got for a birthday cake that night.  Poor kid.  I had just barely finished my 2nd cake decorating class and this was the final project.

It was really fun to make and I think it turned out pretty good.
