Aaron's Birthday Celebration

To celebrate Aaron's birthday, we went to dinner at Tucanos and walked around The Gateway.

Lights at the ESA.

We even had enough time to walk around Temple Square.
It wasn't really even that crowded since it was cold and rainy.

Then it was time to head over to Abravanel Hall for the concert.

The concert was great!  And to make it better, we just walked a block over to our hotel and didn't have to worry about traffic.  We got up early enough the next morning that we were able to go to Market Street for breakfast.  It was so yummy!  It was such a fun and relaxing time.  We are so glad that Aaron's parents were willing to watch the kids while we were gone.

Most of December

On December 6, we made snowflakes

On December 8, Santa drove around Eagle Mountain on a fire truck!
Waiting

I think I see him!

Aiden was excited.

Here he comes!

And, the kids are scrambling for frozen salt water taffy.

December 14, we celebrated Aaron's birthday, but that is a whole other post by itself.

December 16, we made a gingerbread train

December 21, was my cousin Chase's wedding.
It was held on the 6th floor of Rice-Eccles stadium and it was such a fun place for a wedding!  And the members of the bridal party got to have their pictures taken on the field.  How awesome!

Aiden and Grandpa Steve

Aiden and his date, Amanda.
He loved dancing with her and didn't want to leave the dance floor.  He was so sad when it was time to leave.  By the way, the other 2 kids were there, they just left with Grandpa after the ceremony.

On December 22, we made cookies for Santa

Aiden played nicely with his toys while we were busy

Brooke's

Dallin's

Aiden also occupied himself by trying to lick a snowball off the sliding glass door.  Yum.

And, congratulations if you made it through this long, photo-heavy post.

November

So, I failed at taking many pictures in November.  Thanksgiving was with my family at our house and I only took pictures on my phone.  And, only pictures of the food.  Oops.

On November 24, we decorated our tree.

Our new ornaments

Yep.  Aiden LOVES posing for pictures.
Sad thing is, that Aiden was the only one leaving the tree alone after it was decorated.  So, Aaron ended up taking it down a few weeks later and putting it back up on Christmas Eve.

Aiden turned 18 months old on November 27.
I forgot to take pictures of him that day, so here are some I took on the 28th.

drinking my soda

all gone!

He is such a good baby.  Not a great sleeper, but other than that, he is awesome.  He was supposed to start nursery the first Sunday of December, but he was sick.  He has been sick off and on all month and has yet to go to nursery.  He says a lot of words now.  At his check up he was tall and skinny.  Just like the other kids. Now, if we could just get him healthy and get him to stay that way, we would be golden.

October

We made cotton ball ghosts.

We carved pumpkins.

We went trick-or-treating.  It was such a warm night!
Our kids were characters from Adventure Time.  It's a cartoon on Cartoon Network and they all love it.
Dallin was Fin the Human

Brooke was Princess Bubblegum

Aiden was Jake the Dog

The Adventure Time crew ready to go!

The kids had fun and got tons of candy!
