He was so excited to give them to the kids!

The Rest of December(not including Christmas)

Aaron and I went to Tucanos and did some shopping to celebrate his birthday

Amanda gave Brooke a trim

My grandpa treated the whole family to dinner at The Garden in honor of Drew

The kids decorated cookies for Santa, which we forgot to put out for him.

Christmas Eve

We stopped at the cemetary to see Andrew's gravesite.
The headstone has been ordered, so hopefully they will get it in once the ground thaws.

Nate and Kassie sponsered an ugly sweater contest

This is Pa's ugly sweater.  It is real wool and has been eaten by moths.

Nate and Kassie made matching reindeer sweaters.

Cute picture of Grandma with her boys

Aaron and me.
We could not find ugly sweaters and I was just getting over a cold, I did want to make anything.

We had some carolers

The kids got new jammies

7 Months!

Aiden is 7 months old now!
He isn't crawling yet, but he still gets around pretty quick.
He is starting to eat table food now and loves it.
He just started to be able to sit up without tipping over on Christmas day.
He was sick for the 1st time this last month.  He had pink eye and a cold.
He continues to impress us everyday with what he can do and how he learns.
Aaron says he likes the way it makes him feel when Aiden reaches out to him.
His favorite person is Mommy.
Other favorite people are Daddy and Dallin.
His sleeping is really crazy.  Some nights he does awesome, only waking up once to eat and then right back to bed.  Other nights he wakes up at least one other time and can be awake for an hour.  Also, he wakes up at like 5 or 5:30 and is up until his morning nap 4 hours later.
I love to kiss his chubby cheeks.  I am seriously in love with my little guy!

We are lame. Consider this our Christmas card.

I think this might be the first year since I can remember that we have not sent out a Christmas card.  I haven't really had much free time.   Hopefully nobody is offended.

December Activities

Ok, so I had this grand plan to have the kids pick an activity to do everyday counting down to Christmas.  Well, that has not worked out as well as I had hoped.  This whole month so far we have been sick.  It started with Brooke at the very first of the month and has just worked it's way through the family.  Pink eye and colds at the same time.  So far, I have missed out on pink eye (fingers crossed it stays that way).  Luckily Aaron can work from home so he is not spreading his sickness around the office.  Needless to say, we have not been able to to an activity everyday.  We have done some though and here they are.

We made penguin ornaments:

Santa drove by on the firetruck:
(I forgot this was even happening until I heard the sirens, so this was the only picture I got)

 We made snowmen ornaments:

 We decorated foam Christmas trees:

I had the kids paint wrapping paper for their gifts to each other:

And today, they decorated these foam gingerbread houses:
Brooke's

Dallin's

Activities we hope we still have time for include:
Seeing the lights at Thanksgiving Point
Making gift tags to go on all our presents
Playdate with MeMe (the kids' great-grandma)
Making cookies for Santa and to hand out to our awesome neighbors
Decorating a gingerbread train

Hopefully we are all on the mend, and we will be able to get these fun activities before Christmas!
