Las Vegas

Here are some pictures from our Vegas trip. We had a ton of fun, and to our relief, the kids were good for Aaron's parents.

Our hotel

The Bellagio.
The hotels were all decked out for Chinese New Year.
It was awesome.

Dinner at the Harley Davidson cafe. Very cool place, with very yummy food.

The fountains at the Bellagio. Amazing.

We had a lot of fun. We went to a movie, went shopping, relaxed, and got to see pretty much all of the hotels on the strip. It was a great trip, and we can't believe we are already home.

We are going to Las Vegas!

We are going to Las Vegas to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. We are so excited. We haven't had a vacation where it was just the two of us since our honeymoon. Aaron's parents graciously offered to take our kids while we are gone. We are going to miss the kids like crazy, but it will be nice to have a break. We are leaving on Saturday and staying the night in Mesquite and then we will spend the rest of our time in Las Vegas. We are staying at the Treasure Island hotel. It should be lots of fun, and hopefully it will be nice down there. I am so sick of the cold weather here.

Kangaroo Zoo

Today we got back to our weekly playdate with my friend and her daugher. We decided to take the kids to Kangaroo Zoo. It is located on Redwood Road in North Salt Lake. It is designed for kids and it is full of inflatable bouncy toys. They even had bouncy toys for kids 4 and under so that the little kids don't get trampled by the big kids. Since our kids are still under three, they got in for about five dollars. For kids three and over, it is like seven or eight dollars. There is no time limit to your stay, but you can't leave and come back. It was totally worth the money. The kids loved it. It kept their attention for 3 hours. They probably would have liked to stay longer. They also do parties. They have a few really cute pary rooms that you can rent. For more info their website is kangaroozoo.net
They had posted on their door, no outside food or drinks, but we both had sandwiches that we brought for our kids that they ate. The rule doesn't seem enforced very strictly. They have healthy snacks and drinks, but they were overpriced. Anyway, we really liked it and are definately going to take the kids back to play. Here are some pictures of Dallin from today.

Crafty stuff

These are just some cards that I made tonight

This is one for a wedding

Some close ups because the picture
wasn't very clear.

This was the Christmas card I made
for this last Christmas.

This is a project I made for my friend for her Christmas present.
Picture frames attached with ribbon so that they will hang vertically on the wall.
