Date Night #15

We did this date earlier in the week since we knew the weekend was going to be crazy busy.  We decided to build/decorate a gingerbread house together.  One of Aaron's aunts had given us a kit and we had already done one with the kids, so we decided to use it for date night.  It was a fun, easy date night.

December happenings

This little guy has been making quite a few appearances in our yard.  He's usually with his mom and dad.  It is the cutest thing.

Instead of buying presents for each other's kids, my friend and I took our kids to Chuck E Cheese for lunch and games.  They had so much fun.

Saturday night was Aaron's family Christmas party.

We had a magic show by the amazing T

Aaron's mom and aunts planned this fun night.  We had a yummy dinner and a great time with the family.

As you can see, December has been busy, but fun.  And there is more to come!

Date Night #14

Date night on Friday was special because A) the kids were sleeping over at my parents, and B) we were celebrating Aaron's birthday.  I dropped the kids off and picked Aaron up from work.  We drove to the Gateway and had dinner at Tucanos.  It was delicious.  After dinner we walked around the mall and enjoyed being able to take our time and not have to rush to pick our kids up.  We were able to finish up our Christmas shopping.  When we got home, we relaxed on the couch and watched a stand up comic on Netflix.  We also both got to sleep in!  Brooke wakes up really early(like before 6 and sometimes before 5), so it was really nice that we didn't have to get up with her.

Update

I went to the doctor today and everything is good.  Dallin went with me so he could hear the baby's heartbeat.  He said it sounded like fireworks.  We find out what we are having in 4 weeks!  Aaron thinks it is a girl and Dallin thinks it is a boy.  We put a poll up on the left so you can vote too!

Date Nights 9-13

I have been slacking on the date night posts, but we have still been doing them.  They haven't been very exciting which is why I haven't been writing about them.  It seems like I am starting to finally get over the so called "morning" sickness, so hopefully we can start putting more effort into our plans.

Date #9- We just watched episodes of The Office
Date #10- We went to my cousin's wedding dinner at the Lion House
Date #11- We set up our Christmas tree and decorations
Date #12- We watched Ghost Adventures while we put together the little kitchen Brooke is getting for Christmas.
Date #13- We watched Eclipse while we got a pretty good start on our Christmas wrapping.

This Friday should be a really fun date.  The kids are sleeping over at my parents and Aaron and I are going to Tucanos for his birthday dinner.

Shutterfly to the Rescue!

It’s that time of year!  Christmas cards!  I actually was just going to skip it this year.  I usually make my Christmas cards, but this year, I am just not feeling it.  I usually can just do projects after the kids go to bed, but I have not been feeling well at night.  Luckily this pregnancy I haven’t been as sick as the other two, but it’s enough that I just want to sit and not do anything.  Well, I have a solution!  Shutterfly is doing a promotion for bloggers to get free Christmas cards.  I am so excited about this.  I love their products.  I have ordered prints from them and I am impressed with the quality.  I have also ordered a photobook and a photo poster.  Shutterfly has so many fun products.  They have their  Christmas cards, calendars, and if you don't have time to get cards out before Christmas, they have New Years cards.  I was playing around and put together 5 different Christmas cards.

Date #7 and Date #8

Date nights haven't been that exciting because I have been feeling sick at night.  Hopefully they will start getting better in the next few weeks.

So for Date #7 we went to the doctor and got this amazing picture.

Date #8
My brother got married on Friday, so Aaron and I got to spend the whole day together.  Aaron's parents came and got our kids about an hour into the reception, so we had the rest of the time without them.  We got to dance together for the first time (yes, we have been married for almost 7 years and haven't danced together).  It was a really fun day.  Also a day that will have its own post.

Halloween

Carving Pumpkins

Dallin at his preschool parade.  They sang a song and then walked up and down the sidewalk.  Dallin was disappointed when he realized that it wasn't a real parade where he would be walking down the middle of the street.

Tinkerbell and Peter Pan (my cousin T.J.)

I didn't get any pictures of the actually trick or treating because it was raining so hard.  The kids had fun though.  Brooke was done after we went around the block but Dallin wanted to keep going.  He didn't care that he was wet and cold.

Date #6

For Date Night on Saturday we actually had a babysitter!  The kids got to go to my parents house for a little while.  Aaron and I went to dinner with his parents.  It was fun.  We ate at Hire's.  I love Hire's.  After dinner, we went to a party for one of Aaron's cousins.  I forgot my camera, so there are no pictures this week.  We had a good time together and the kids had fun eating junk food and playing in the hot tub.
