We Are Thankful For Aaron's Job

We are so thankful for Aaron's job.  It made it possible for us to buy the van we needed and also the house that we so desperately needed.  Let me tell you the awesome (at least it is to us) story of how this came to be.  Back in like March, I think, Aaron got a call from the Elder's Quorum President saying he felt they should meet.  He wasn't sure why, he just was following a prompting.  They met and the conversation was steered toward jobs.  Aaron mentioned he was going to wait until after we had Aiden to start looking so we wouldn't have issues with insurance.  Plus, we had awesome insurance.  He told Aaron that timing is everything and that he felt he should start looking.  So when Aaron got home, he started looking and found and opening that fit him perfectly.  It was also located in Utah County, which was good because we were wanting to move to Eagle Mountain.  So Aaron applied.  He did it through Monster, and just sent what he already had on file.  Right after he sent it he noticed he had forgotten to change something on his cover letter.  So we thought right then and there that we had blown it and would not be hearing from this company.  Well, Aaron did hear from the company and they wanted to meet with him.  He did well in the interview and really liked the boss and the people he would be working with.  There were 2 openings and only 5 or 6 applicants that were being considered.  The guy that interviewed Aaron was really good with keeping us updated on the status of the hiring.  There were delays with applicants being interviewed and decisions being made.  Instead of us just being left hanging and wondering, they were really good about calling or emailing. My uncle happens to work at the same company and went over to talk to the guy that would be Aaron's boss.  Most likely, that was the thing that put Aaron over the top.  We are very grateful to my uncle for saying such nice things about Aaron.  We got the job offer 2 days before our scheduled c-section to have Aiden.  It was awesome.  They offered Aaron the exact amount that we were hoping for.  Also the insurance costs the exact amount that it did with our last job.  The coverage isn't as good(which we knew would happen no matter where we went), but pretty much all our doctors are covered and we get to stay with IHC as our hospitals.  Aaron told them he couldn't start until like the 3rd week of June so we wouldn't have a lapse in coverage.  They told us that if anything happened during the 2 weeks that we wouldn't have coverage, they would pay for COBRA.  There only request was that Aaron start working a week earlier than that.  So Aaron accepted!  Aaron gave his 2 weeks notice the day he got back from his time off after having Aiden.  We feel so blessed and grateful for an Elder's Quorum President who listened to the promptings of the Spirit.  If it wasn't for him, who knows what would have happened.  We could still be in our dumpy 2 bedroom 900 sq. foot apartment with 3 kids and trying to squeeze all 3 carseats into the back of our neon.  We know the Lord was looking out for us and knew exactly what we needed and knew when we needed it.
