Easter-picture overload

We had a friend that had egg dye leftover, so we ended up dyeing our eggs on March 26(my birthday).

These little containers helped contain a lot of the color mess.

The Saturday before Easter, a family in our neighborhood decided to host an egg hunt.  We each contributed 10 eggs per kid and our kids could find 10 to take home.  They hid eggs for the older kids on one side of the street and eggs for the younger kids on the other side of the street.  It was so much fun!

Then, that evening we went to Aaron's parents for dinner.

Aaron's brother and his wife came up with a craft for the kids to do.  They each painted a pot and then got to plant a seed in them.

And they got to do another egg hunt!

Easter morning!

Here are the kids' baskets.  They got a few things and they each got a picture of Jesus to put in their rooms.

Brooke found an egg!  Also, look how static-y her hair is!  It is like that all the time.

Then we got ready for church, this is one of 2 Sundays a year that I dress the kids to match and take pictures.  These were the best I could do.  The kids weren't being very cooperative.

After church we went up to MeMe's house for dinner.  After dinner we went to the cemetary.  Pa's headstone had been placed so we went to see it.  It looks really nice and the lowercase A's are even the ones he would approve of.(yes, he was that picky about fonts)

Then we went back to MeMe's house for cake and presents to celebrate mine and MeMe's birthdays.

Nate was hugging me after giving me a hard time about turning 29.

After that, my mom and Amanda hid some eggs for the kids to find.

  

It was a fun almost week long celebration!
