You should see this!

Viewmont High School's dance concert was last night. They also have a show on Monday at 7:00. It was a great show. Viewmont's dance program is amazing, and the spring concert is always wonderful. If any of you are looking for a family home evening activity for tomorrow, I recommend that you go see this concert. My sister is a Vykelle, so she was in about six of the dances. Here are some pictures from some of the dances.

"Origination"
This dance was very impressive because some of the girls
were suspended in the air. The also had a fog machine.

"The British Invasion"
Music by The Beatles.
This dance was so fun. The guys in this dance wore Beatles wigs.

"Perpetual Rebound"
The girls in this dance had bungee cords around their waists.
There were guys off stage holding on to them to give resistance.

Amanda!

"Angels"
This one was danced in memoriam of former concert participants who have since passed on. A sister of one of them had written a song in her sister's memory and performed it while the girls were dancing. It was a very beautiful piece.

"Ametralladora Waltz"
This is the Vykelles and their dads.
Our dad did awesome!

"Embers to Ashes"
This was an African dance, if you couldn't tell by the costumes. They even had three guys drumming while they danced. This was one of my favorites. It was a very energetic dance, and just watching them made me feel worn out.

Amanda, along with all of the other dancers, did an amazing job. They are all so talented. Definately makes me wish I had stuck with dancing.

The last performance is Monday night at seven.
The tickets are $6 per person, or you can buy a family ticket for $25.
